Minimally Invasive Vein Treatments in St. Augustine

Varicose veins, leg swelling, and other symptoms can be signs of an underlying circulation problem. At One Vein Clinic, our experienced medical team uses personalized evaluations and in-house venous ultrasound to identify the cause of your symptoms before recommending treatment.

Our advanced, minimally invasive treatments are designed to address problematic veins, improve circulation, and help you return to your daily activities with minimal downtime.

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive treatment for venous insufficiency and certain varicose veins. Using ultrasound guidance, a thin catheter is inserted into the affected vein and delivers controlled radiofrequency energy to heat and close the vein.

Once the vein is sealed, blood naturally redirects through healthier veins, helping reduce symptoms such as leg pain, swelling, and heaviness.

At One Vein Clinic, we perform RFA using Boston Scientific and Medtronic catheter systems. Treatment is typically performed in-office, with most patients returning to normal daily activities relatively quickly.

VenaSeal™

VenaSeal™ is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a specially formulated medical adhesive to close diseased superficial veins without the need for heat.

Under ultrasound guidance, a thin catheter delivers small amounts of adhesive into the affected vein, sealing it closed and allowing blood to naturally redirect through healthier veins.

Because VenaSeal does not use thermal energy, it typically requires fewer anesthetic injections than heat-based procedures. One Vein Clinic offers the Medtronic VenaSeal closure system as an option for appropriate patients with venous insufficiency.

Varithena®

Varithena® is an FDA-approved, minimally invasive microfoam treatment used for certain varicose veins and underlying venous insufficiency.

During treatment, a specialized foam is injected into the affected vein, causing it to close. Blood then redirects through healthier veins, while the treated vein is gradually absorbed by the body.

At One Vein Clinic, Varithena is an option for treating smaller veins and certain varicose veins, depending on their size, location, and underlying condition. The procedure is performed in-office and generally requires little downtime.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive injectable treatment commonly used to improve the appearance of spider veins and smaller visible veins.

During the procedure, a specialized solution is injected directly into the targeted veins, causing them to close and gradually fade as the body absorbs them.

At One Vein Clinic, sclerotherapy is primarily offered for cosmetic vein concerns, helping patients address unwanted spider veins and improve the appearance of their legs.

Treatment recommendations depend on your vein health, symptoms, and individual goals.
